But, it is only around 5-6$ for 250gr (22,50$/kg) and this little 250gr can last you for a while, because miso tastes VERY salty, so you rarely need to use a lot. Got all amino acids, besides, its got many health benefits. and prevents infection, diseases, etc. You can put it in anything: stews, soups, etc.

Other fermented soy products like Tempeh: much better for health than tofu! more expensive, though.

Bragg's Liquid Amino Acid soy sauce: made of soy amino acids, 0 calories, low sodium: much better than regular soy sauce or Tamari sauce! More complex taste also, doesn't taste just salty.

Hemp seeds: another complete protein. High in protein, not a common allergen, excellent in salads, cereals, soups... everything!

Vegan protein powders: hemp protein powder chocolate flavour, delicious with a banana in smoothie. Pumpkin seed protein powder: almost tasteless: replace some of the flour with this in muffins, cake recipes to add more proteins!

Rice paper: there are different size. The larger ones are perfect for sandwich rolls. It is raw and is good replacement to bread!

ALL fruits and vegetables ! cucumbers, grapes, cherries, romaine lettuce, oranges...

sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, etc: to replace meat, etc. Buy it raw, you can let them soak overnight. Grounded sesame seeds are ideal to thicken sauces.

dates: the soft ones like Medjool or others, not the hard, dried ones. Tastes so good, so sweet, perfect snack when you crave for sugar!

avocados: complete protein, higher amino acid profile than beef or eggs! Perfect in sandwich, vegan sushi, salads, raw guacamole, etc!

kale chips: the best brand and less expensive: solar raw. There are 2 delicious vegan flavours: super cheesy and ranch sour cream with hemp.

Ruth's Chia Goodness: perfect for raw breakfast morning cereals. Around 8$ most places but sometimes 5$ at rare places. Can be eaten cold or warm or added to recipes like stews, soups or cookies!

Lentills: soak overnight, and then its cooked in only 20 minutes! Healthy, delicious in many recipes!

vegan burgers: you can make them out of lentills, hemps seeds, beans, grounded seeds and nuts, add spices, herbs, salt: eat in sandwich, salads, etc.

vegan raw lemon bars: I make them out of chia, raw peanuts, raw cashews and sunflowers, fresh lemon juice and zest, add stevia, agave nectar, raisins, raw cocoa, everything you want! Healthy fast food!

http://www.radio-canada.ca/nouvelles/sante/2011/01/24/001-cancer-sein-poumon.shtml

Je le publie donc ici!

@Maxxx7,

g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-26263848295895164892010-12-13T10:31:00.003-05:002010-12-13T10:57:28.186-05:00Good deals in Montreal for FoodRaw nuts can be pretty expensive but at Tau on St-Denis corner Rachel you can buy raw cashews for 10,29$ per kilo. If one has cancer and opts to do nothing at all, he will live longer and feel better than if he undergoes radiation, chemotherapy or surgery, other than when used in immediate life-threatening situations."---Prof Jones. (1956 Transactions of the N.Y. Academy of Medical Sciences, vol 6. There is a fifty page article by Hardin Jones of National Cancer Institute of Bethesda, Maryland. He surveyed global cancer of all types and compared the untreated and the treated, to conclude that the untreated outlives the treated, both in terms of quality and in terms of quantity. Secondly he said, "Cancer does not cure". Third he said "There is a physiological mechanism which finishes off an individual".)

"Keep in mind that the 5 year mark is still used as the official guideline for "cure" by mainstream oncologists. Statistically, the 5 year cure makes chemotherapy look good for certain kinds of cancer, but when you follow cancer patients beyond 5 years, the reality often shifts in a dramatic way."—Diamond.
So, some patients who died after 5 years, their treatment is considered successful. But if this person would have had no traditional treatment but instead would have transitioned to an healthier lifestyle and get plenty of rest, most chances she wouldn't have died before 5 years, and maybe she would have lived 50 years longer.

"Most cancer patients in this country die of chemotherapy…Chemotherapy does not eliminate breast, colon or lung cancers. This fact has been documented for over a decade. Yet doctors still use chemotherapy for these tumours…Women with breast cancer are likely to die faster with chemo than without it."—Alan Levin, M.D.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-76661035100551226182010-08-16T22:14:00.003-04:002010-10-02T21:23:11.918-04:00Some videos on InternetGhandi 2 hours version of the Ghandi doc : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=199769506418852386#
5 hours documentary on Ghandi: : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8859891538096241080#
Life of Buddha : http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/faith_and_spirituality/watch/v16978077HfhHeY2g
Doing time doing vipassana (meditation in Indian prisons, full movie)
http://current.com/groups/cultura/91903721_food-for-the-mind-vipassana-meditation.htm
The Dhamma Brothers (2 trailers for this documentary on Vipassana meditation in Alabama prison)
http://vimeo.com/12063030
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHNj8LEkgbA

---

2 extreme films showing the suffering of animal beings caused by humans.

Earthlings : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6361872964130308142&ei=6Um5SdDyHIiGqwKdpN2xAw&q=earthlings#

Chinese fur farms : http://www.peta.org/feat/chinesefurfarms/index.aspg.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-28853072991144816982010-08-16T21:38:00.004-04:002010-08-16T21:49:36.892-04:00FREE YOGA in MONTREAL-Studio Bliss: 1 week free unlimited yoga - find a coupon in lululemon athletica or other yoga stores.
-Yoga Bliss : 1 free yoga class - find a coupon in lululemon athletica or other yoga stores.

You can get free yoga classes in the 4 Lululemon stores, check on their websites for more info.
- :

Tuesdays at 9a.m at 1394 Greene Avenue, near Atwater.
Wednesday, yoga outside at noon at the statue at the Mount-Royal. I was walking in the cold, the snow, it is very humid and with a cold wind and it was even raining, the road is icy, but I wasn't even feeling the cold, I was warm. Or the cold that I wss feeling on my skin was soft. I was feeling really fine and while I was walking I was almost meditating, Life is about creation and destruction, its energy. To live and die. But cruelty and to kill by madness has no place in this world, that is why I decided to pray while I was walking, sometimes by closing my eyes, to pray for peace to all animals and humans and all living beings. And I was thinking about many things, everything but at the same time nothing. In plenitude, and in harmony with the trees around me and the snow falling down and the snow on the ground, in osmosis with everything. Thinking about my life and the paths that awaits me... All the things that surrounds me and my life... I could see energy from my mind in the form of a fire coming alive in my creativity, with flames of very intense colors. And visualizations of lightnings of artistic energy that I want to express, but positive and negative emotions that I don't want to keep in myself but want to create and transform with it. And was thinking about Marta. She's a wonderful woman, I don't want her to think she's like the others. She's so much than that to me, I want her to know that I think about her and that she is very important to me.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-39580495111172524992009-11-14T19:12:00.002-05:002009-12-26T13:18:23.402-05:00Many thoughts from my wicked mindSo since 2 days I'm feeling hyperactive, because I finally got my life back. Found a job - a shitty one though - new place to stay - shitty too. But its a new life and I'm enthousiastic about it.

Since I moved in an hotel room in downtown, I have so much energy, mostly because I finally stay at my own place (well not completly, because its just an hotel room - and a cheap one and ugly one - but its better than when I was staying at my father's place, where I couldn't function at all - couldn't even make phone calls to find an appartment -- so I went in this hotel -- or search for as job -- but I found one luckily), and its in Montreal downtown, right between the Metropolis and Foufounes Electriques, so I just go out in the street and I'm already right there where everybody is shopping and walking, all the buildings, bars etc, I can go by walking to the gym, to the library, etc without even the need to take the bus or subway. Its funny, because I now live in downtown, I feel like I'm rediscovering the city, I feel like a tourist in my own city where I was born in and where I lived all my life, and I even feel like I felt when I was visiting New York city. So as soon as the night starts around here, we constantly hear the traffic, police sirens or the fire department trucks, people from the bars, etc. Crazy.
This is a shitty hotel - kind of like the place in Taxi Driver's final scene - with the ugliest carpet I've ever seen, but its ok. There's a tv, queen size bed, wi-fi, window, small fridge (which is not even in the room yet, but I asked for it).. and nothing else, which is good because I like minimalism and simplicity, my vision of perfection.
Anyways, this month I'll go to work, go on internet, take photos, train in the gym and in the room, eat a lot, I'll see some friends, go out sometimes at the movies, bars, etc.
I must save some cash to buy a new Mac laptop and pro digital camera. My goals for a near future are to become a pro photographer and filmmaker.
I want to study massaging too for one year, but this will cost a lot.
I want to travel to Europe again, in Finland, Paris, Berlin, Bruges, etc. Also, in the summer, maybe one week to Cuba or somewhere else in South America, its pretty cheap for a full package -- plane tickets, beach, hotel, food.

==============

From Hanna on Facebook

"The standard diet of a meat-eater is blood, flesh, veins, muscles, tendons, cow secretions, hen periods and bee vomit. And once a year during a certain holiday in November, meat-eaters use the hollowed out rectum of a dead bird as a pressure cooker for stuffing. And people think vegans are weird because we eat tofu?"

I agree. People are fucking crazy.

=========================================

Those Internet providers, in Canada its companies like Bell and Videotron, they get Internet free and then they sell it, right ? Or do they pay something to the state ? I guess its like the companies that take water for free and then they sell it in bottles, making a fortune out of a free ressource that everybody/nobody owns. Like Internet, water, air, land, etc.

Here in Quebec I often hear in the news they talk about this new thing to make pay in airplane for using the restroom. What's so special about it, people already need to pay for WC in whole Europe so why not in planes too ? Both on land and in planes are ridiculous - why making people pay just to shit or piss; we already pay taxes and we pay for all kinds of services, and for food, etc... then soon we will have to pay for breathing and walking ? It is the airline Ryanair (which I used twice last month) that wants to make people pay for their shitty bathrooms, probably very small and not luxury at all (their airplanes look shitty : the seats, seatbelts, etc), the president of the company says its to make tickets less expensive. I dont understand his logic. THey also want to ask politely to the passengers to go to the bathroom before entering the plane, so that people will weight less and the company will save on fuel. They would save more money if they would refuse obese passengers !

GM Canada received 50 million dollars from the government and still this company says they are still in danger. Oh really and how much do they need ? In the US they got a total of like 4 billions $ I think. They say they are essential to the country. Sorry but a company that needs 50 millions or more to survive is not a good company at all. They say they are bankrupted and they lower the salaries of the employees (which were paid too much, sometimes 70$ per hour) but the CEO's are still taking hundreds of thousands or millions $ per year for themselves. Not a company: thieves; and a plague to the country and to the citizens, like a parasite that never wants to die or a cancer. With this money, imagine all the brillant new companies that young entrepreneurs would have been able to start and would have been profitable to the economy of the country. Also, this money to universities and research would have been very useful. But no, the governement decided to obey to the ridiculous demands of these assholes and then nothing new comes up while this money would have been enough to produce an outstanding new model of electric car. GM and other retarded car contructors of the past are still building SUVs, 4x4 and minivans with oil burning.

--------------------------------------------

We always see ads for milk and dairies on tv telling us we dont consume enough of it and that its dangerous, concerning osteoporosis for instance... Most people drink milk everyday at least with their cereals or at least they eat cheese or yogurt, but the milk industry will always tell us its not enough. Truth is even if you drink 20 gallon of milk each day they will tell you its not enough and you will still be at risk to get osteoporosis; in fact, the more you drink milk the more your chances will increase. So dont drink even a drop of milk or cheese and get your calcium from plant-based foods instead.

---------------------------

THE SWINE FLUE

About the swine flue vaccine and the so-called ''pandemic'', some people think they need it, brainwashed by the medias... We know about 4,000 different viruses... you should get a vaccine for each one of those, otherwise you're in great danger ! ...right ?

One victim of the vaccine: nobody talked about it because I'm the only one who seemed to have understood (or the others keep it secret): the medias said a woman died of the h1n1 a few days after being vaccinated; they said the vaccine was not related to death because it takes about 10 days for the vaccine to take effect. When they say ''the vaccine is not related to her death'' they see the vaccine as something innoffensive. Let me show you the other side of the vaccine: she was already infected by the virus when she got a shot of the vaccine: this is what caused her death, because her immune system was already fighting something, and then they injected into her body the same virus and adjuvants, which weakened her body, she has been unable to win over the virus, while for most people it is not a problem.

A hundred nurses, doctors and other workers of an hospital in Montreal got a shot of the wrong vaccine. In fact, they received doses of H1N1 vaccines which contained twice too much the amount of adjuvants, an error that happened at the facility where it is produced. So they will have received in total 3 times more adjuvants than the others who got the vaccine, which already contains 10 times more adjuvants than all prior types of vaccines.

---------------------

It was called the SWINE flue and should have remain the same but they changed it for A (H1N1) because the pig farmers were mad. Like the avian flue, the swine flue came from intensive farming: overpopulation of chickens spread the virus so it had years to mutate into a strain able to break the specie barrier to humans. Now, the same happened with pigs. KARMA. Pandemics (#1 threat to the total extinction of the human specie) are the price to pay for domesticating animals 10,000 years ago. The meat and dairy industry are also the culpit for food intoxications: E.Coli, Salmonella and other dangerous bacterias all come from one comon thing: excrements of farm animals. We throw it where there is some space, which is anywhere they can find: on the soil, in our rivers, etc; the rest serve as manure to fertilize the soil to grow vegetables and grains, corn and soy (most of it goes to feed cattle...). So we end up with contaminated meat or milk, cheese, but also contaminated fruits, lettuce, spinach, vegetables, processed food... always consequences of meat-eating. It will never end until people stop eating meat, meat full of shit.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-89552264832582934012009-09-17T02:14:00.001-04:002009-09-17T02:16:24.899-04:00Travel Diary IIFINLAND

Arrived around the 13th. Met Hanna in a café, she's the reason why I come to Finland -- and she's the main reason of this whole trip. When I think about it now, there were many situations where I would have asked myself if it wasn't of her: ''what the hell am I doing here, in this foreign country, this big city, in the middle of millions of strangers?'' but Hanna exists so I rarely asked myself this question or when I did I just started to think about her and I was fine, otherwise I would have felt a bit lost and this whole trip would be pointless or would seem like it.
Anyway its great that since I arrived I visited Tampere, Helsinki and Espoo and met many Finns (Hanna's friends). Eventhough the time we spent together wasn't perfect, its still great, thank you Hanna:) Kiss. Nothing's perfect anyway, things happen and that's how it is.
So we went to a vegan buffet, was really good. (When I'll be back in Mtl, I'll definitley go to that similar vegan joint which I never been because I thought I wouldn't like it). We went many times for a walk with the dog, a lovely dog named Tessa, always to different spots so that I see different things of Finland, like a lake, or an abandoned mansion. Those walks were great, thank you Hanna..

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

FINLAND

Midnight, night of the 16th-17th of September (which day are we ? I don't even know).
I'm in a bar, cool place, in Finland. Nice place to chill out; called Ravintola Artturi - Ruoka & Baari. Probably much better (for me or at least at this moment) than this nightclub that I saw not far away and that had a long line-up just to enter. Had a big glass of beer, shot a small video, nice decoration, great music. Most songs are in English though; I like Finn music. Just chilling out, writing ideas for movies to make. There,s even old Finnish books on a shelve and some old artifacts. I took some Finn vintage magazines and books for kids with illustrations because I can't understand a darn word in Finnish of course.
i'm here alone because I had a little problem with Hanna earlier. We were supposed to go in town together but because I was taking time (a matter of minutes or seconds) she decided to just go. It would have been fine as for I went out 20 seconds after her to go catch the bus but I took the wrong path and then it was too late. Came back to take my stuff and took the bus. Its better like this maybe. As I always say: nothing happens for nothing. I don't like so much waiting in the morning that she wakes up, and then she writes emails for hours or send text messages. She has the right to do whatever she wants, its just that I dont have bus tickets or money to go in town and come back later, I felt kinda in a situation I where I can't move. I should have just go walking in the woods and explore. And this whole thing of having no cash, just a credit card, is stupid from me, and created some tensions between me and her as she had to pay for my tickets. But the worst is that Heini girl who decided to bitch about Hanna on the web just when I'm in Finland visiting and Hanna had to spend hours arguing with her, so I wa slike: 'I want to spend every minute with you beauty, you're so lovely and cute, I kind of like you, I like to just massage your feet and your legs and 2 feel your skin but you're there writing stuff on the internet and then you,re stressed and can't find your breathe.' ... Anyways, I'm not here to complain or whatever, I just needed to express my feelings; things happen, what's done is none, its the past and now I'm here.
I'm here now in that bar in Finland. NOthing so extraordinary but if I stop to think about it: hey, I'm in Finland, in a bar, who would have thought just a few months ago, back in Quebec. Its still pretty special. And I'll be in other cities and countries of the world soon. I hope I can travel many times in the future. So I'm here now and I think about her because she's a nice girl, very lovely. I hope at least I'll see her again before I leave the country... Of course I will; why wouldn't I?... She's a lovely girl.
The song ''No Woman No Cry'' by Bob Marley is playing in the bar, great song and I just listen to it, doing nothing else. So true, what he says in the song. At least I feel like this at the moment.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-66764576738422308282009-09-17T02:13:00.001-04:002009-09-17T02:14:14.561-04:00Travel Diary ILONDON
7th September
Once there was this teenager walking with his mother, I asked him politely where is this street I've been looking for hours, and he continued his way without looking at me and made a sound like ''euinh...'' as if he was gonna throw up just at the idea of helping a stranger. I laughed and told to this little bastard to go fuck himself in French.
I didn't like London especially because when I arrived I saw those restroom at the train station that we need to pay to enter. Never saw that before in America. So I had to go outside and search for free restrooms. But now I see bathrooms like this everywhere in Europe, so I often piss outside in the streets,. I also didn't like London because the city, the streets, are built as if it was designed by a thousand different retards, because there's one street in that way, then it changes name or most of the time the name of street isn't even written or not clearly, and then it turns and split into many streets. I had a map but never found any spots I wanted to go, like when I wanted to leave the country; and just to be even more fucked up, the cars are going in the opposite directions than in America and most of Europe... Didn't stay long in that damned city. But I will return in a few weeks and will probably enjoy it more because I will be more prepared, maybe with a couch at someone's place to stay overnight and then just go out with no stress and go to a vegan joint.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-84647228409191758792009-08-26T22:59:00.004-04:002009-08-26T23:22:28.758-04:00milk and osteoporosis

http://healthandfitness.sympatico.msn.ca/Home/ContentPosting_50Plus?newsitemid=084c9522-a7fb-4c5e-bd43-d9c030cd11e6&feedname=50_PLUS&show=False&number=0&showbyline=True&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc&date=False

This is sad: another article on osteoporosis, but they are not saying anything new. They write: osteoporosis does not have to be 'an inevitable part of aging'. Well, with the advices they give, it will continue to be inevitable, because what they are telling to do (taking calcium supplements, drink milk, eat dairy products, fish, and other sources of calcium) is what people already do, but they are still getting osteoporosis - millions of people... they are all eating cheese, fish, etc. And no matter how much they will increase their calcium intake, it wont change anything for this disease. You know the milk advertisement and the question all nutritionists ask 'are you getting enough?' (milk, dairies)... well, eventhough people eat more and more of this, they are still saying its not enough, because diseases related to teeths and bones are still high and getting higher; so they say: drink even more milk. Thing is: too much is like not enough. What they nned to say is: eat less proteins, eat more fruits and vegetables. These foods give plenty of calcium, without excess of proteins. No matter how much calcium you get, if you eat too much proteins, your body will acidify itself and it will leak calcium out of your teeths and bones for alkaline minerals (calcium). As soon as you get too much proteins (and we dont need a lot... only about 10% of your total calories intake, while people get 20-25%... so eat about 30-40 grams of proteins a dayrather than 70-80+)... so as soon as you get too much proteins, you have a negative calcium balance, and taking a ton of calcium supplements wont change anything.

Milk, dairy products, fish, etc are killing people.

Check out those videos from a new documentary on the truth about milk !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFweMS-Mj7o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQsVlA4sqtM

g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-19898222457249597372009-08-20T19:20:00.003-04:002011-12-03T23:02:10.793-05:00meat-eatersok, youtube deleted my account where I uploaded some videos describing meat-eating...That's too bad but i oppened a new one... and I can write here also anyway :)

meat-eaters eat an average of 85 animals per year. We kill an estimated 53 billion animals for food each year in the world, this number does not include fish and all marine animals, so that comes up to an estimated 100 billion animals annually. Add the millions of animals killed for fur and the dozens of millions animals killed for testing shampoo and other cosmetics or medications...

Flesh-eaters: necrophages = corpse-eaters... assassins, serial killers, mercenaries, brutes... eating meat without hunting: scavengers, sapotrophs, detritivores... If its for donuts and stuff, I understand it would taste crappy without sugar... but green tea tastes good naturally without any sweetening or just a little sweezed lemon or fruit juice. I regret I bought this but at least it wont happen again soon: I got at home some green tea leaves, ginkgo biloba, hawtorne, and I can even infuse them under the sun instead of putting boiling water on it. Then just some juice from a fresh grapefruit... got a nice, refreshing beverage perfect at anytime during the day.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-41120578113810082522009-08-20T15:18:00.002-04:002009-08-20T15:23:00.261-04:00rain, music, green tea, sun, energy, creativityThe other day I saw a woman buying BLOOD PUDDING at the grocery store. How pathetic and disgusting... People are vampires! Parasites, mosquitos, carnivores...

---------------

It rained since most of the summer... well it wasn't really 'summer' if it rains and if its cold almost everyday right? And then since 2 weeks its always really hot and humid, air filled with pollution due to smog... when too much is not enough... and then it rains again.
Anyways, I wont complain too much; I got a nice tan, I'm not working except if I want to, but I dont want to right now, maybe this week-end of next week, so I'm in vacation. And in about 2 weeks I leave for Europe, for my first ever real trip on my own. I went to Republics Dominican before but I was so young... A one-month trip to visit all the nice cities: london, paris, stockholm, etc...
...So now it rains, I'm at the main library of Montreal, listening and ripping some Cds of chillhout music, rap (ghost face killah, method man, and some french hip hop...). I'm blogging. Later today I'll go back home, chilling, maybe have an energy drink, then to the gym for full-body workout ending with yoga relaxation, then perhaps to vegan restaurant Aux Vivres. Life is beautiful. Soon (starting slowly today and then week-end and for the whole week ) I'll eat a clean vegan diet again, for cutting, detox, etc: mostly fruits, greens, green tea, hemp protein powder. I like the feeling it gives me, and increased energy despite the very low calorie, so I can focus on training, moving, create; healthy lifestyle.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-83452960620590677972009-08-20T15:17:00.000-04:002009-08-20T15:18:42.750-04:00some old text I've written offlineIn 1950, there were almost 3 billion humans on Earth. In October 2009, we will be 6,7 billion. And in 2042, we will be almost 9 billion on this planet. So in 100 years, total population tripled: 3 times more water drinker, 3 times more food needed to feed all the mouths; 3 times more of everything, but still only one planet to satisfy everybody. Already millions of people dying of hunger in 1950. Will there be 3 times more people dying of hunger? Probably even more.
Las Vegas is built in the middle of the desert where there is not a single drop of water. There's still people arrousing their grass, but there's more and more people beginning to be aware that soon their city will face a tragic shortage of water and people won't even have water to drink or to wash themselves.

_______________

One day I was working with a boy of 16 years old or so. He went to McDonalds for lunch, and talked about pops many times throughout the day, eventhough I told him I'm not interested in that and I don't drink soft drinks or very rarely. He was talking about the cost of soft drinks and the quality of each brand, the different levels of carbonized water in each pop. Guess what he ate for dinner? McDonalds again. He bought a BigMac among other things. And of course he got acne.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-48164563348632437382009-08-19T03:56:00.003-04:002009-08-19T04:24:59.736-04:00MonstersI love all animals, even insects, but I don't like at all those that could eat me, and all those that suck my blood or attack me for other reasons then just for their defense. I understand a rhino that charge on me if I'm on his territory; he's afraid, he thinks I might attack him, if I show him I dont want to hurt him and I leave, perhaps he wont harm me. I don't like those carnivorous animals that will bite me just because they're fucked up in the head, just because they're natural born killers. I love plants but I wouldn't like if a fucking carnivorous plant eats me alive (I know its not really possible). Meateaters and other sickos eating corpses of dead animals in the form of a Big Mac... I hate those fucking vampires: bedbugs, ticks, catfleas that jump on you to suck your blood, red ants that eat you alive, fucking leeches, bats - all those blood suckers are ugly animals or is it just coincidence? - moose flies, black flies, mosquitos and other bugs that spread diseases, Aids and other viruses... intestinal worms, carnivores, killers and other predators, parasites and other calamities of this world that nobody likes. I mean I like cats, they're cute, and nice - when domesticated - but I dont like them when I see them having fun torturing a poor innocent mouse, totally terrified, pretrified with fear, her tiny heart beats so fast that it could explode, and those cats like that, they're not even killing the mouse, just hitting it with their paws and claws and teeths, playing for half an hour. What if I did the same thing to them, I'm sure they wouldn't like it, and I wouldn't like it either. For a few weeks I was being really stressed out because of work, and because of my cat itself always making noise because she was herself stressed of her first pregnancy, then she was stressed and acting insane with her new born kittens so sometimes I would throw my cat 5 meters away, I would just grab her suddenly and throw her, so she became afraid of me, and each time I was doing this I felt so bad for her and guilty, and she was getting even more stressed and unhappy, and me too, which is a sign that violence and brutality are bad. Good and Bad DO exist, no matter if there's a God or not, or justice, law, police, whatever: we feel fear, remorse, joy, these feelings represent abstract, yet real, values: good and bad. Yes death is natural. Yes a tiger killing an antilope is natural, but not necessarily good just because it is natural... Bad is natural too. But just because its natural doesn't mean we must do it. We can do the Good, natural way too.
I'd like a world without those parasites. If we cant make them disapear, at least let's change, us, humans that eat flesh like vulgar ogres.. come on, wake up ! are you so decadent that you eat some dead chickens with dead skin, dead muscles, with blood, nerves, and you always ask for more...g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-74683152172835938672009-05-12T16:42:00.003-04:002009-05-12T16:48:44.352-04:00A vegan world and how it would be possibleThis is inspired by the comment of a Youtube user on my video 'Meat Eating : an History of Violence'

Comment :
I definitely think there is a correlation between meat-eating and violence.

That said, I don't think veganism is a panacea. It won't fix everything. But it will go a LONG way to creating peace on Earth.
(Kangarooelaine)

Of course wars and murders would not stop suddenly just because people are vegans, as if it was a miracle, because people can’t all become true vegans overnight. It depends how the change to a vegan diet happens. More precisely, it depends if people are on a vegan diet or if they become vegans. Two different things, with two different results. If people are forced to be on a vegan diet because we abolish meat, but they still want meat, they may become even more violent. They will be on a vegan diet, but they won’t be vegans, and they might even continue to kill eachothers and still be on a vegan diet… unless they eat eachothers. After a few generations on a vegan diet, meat won’t exist anymore in the culture and customs of people, and maybe the ethical aspect of veganism will appear and then violence will slowly disapear. The change may come from outside (for instance, the government abolish meat, or, overpopulation overflows and the meat industry cannot provide flesh for everyone – but let’s hope they don’t turn to human flesh… which is very probable), and then people are forced to change. Or they choose to change by themselves, but this option may take much longer, perhaps hundreds of years.
But in both cases, at the end, the change must come from within also, it is the only solution.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-26316170675652039182009-05-07T18:47:00.001-04:002009-05-07T18:47:44.074-04:00Statistics about womenProstitution : each year, over 2 million young girls aged between 5-15 years old end up on this market.
1,2 %: it’s the percentage of new women running the 55 biggest firms in USA.
WAR- 80% of victims of manual fire weapons (shotgun, machine gun, grenade…) are females.
Each second…a woman is victim of violence at home… in occident.
20% is the percentage of women in occident who are victims of a sexual agression or a rape attempt in their life.
Mutilation: over 130 millions of women were victim of genital mutilation in the world.g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-91894761116767501902009-03-10T14:07:00.008-04:002009-04-17T16:15:40.408-04:00WHAT SHOULD WE EAT ? may be biaised).
But my conclusion is that fruits are the only ideal food for humans.
Fruits ? Vegetables ? Animal products?
This post is mostly about wether or not we should eat vegetables. I'll let you judge by the links provided (but search for other sources too, for those here

http://www.13.waisays.com/plants.htm
http://www.fibermenace.com/
http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/vegetables.shtml

So these are 3 links provided by someone who eats only raw meat and raw animal products (raw eggs, milk, butter...) telling me that plants are toxic because 1) fibers are not edible 2) most of vegetables contain built-in pesticides/insecticides to naturally fight against predators/to prevent from being eaten.

From the 1st link :

We are not pigeons.

We are not cows.

Therefore we don't have a crop to digest cereals, nor 4 stomachs to gradually digest grasses or leaves.

Right... and are we tigers ? Are we lions or hyennas? No, therefore we don't have the special enzymes and short digestive tract to degrade animal proteins.
We are primates, and like the anthropoid apes we are designed to eat fruits. Most apes eat a diet composed of 99% plant-based food, (most calories come from fruits, the rest from greens) and 1% animal food (the insects on the greens they eat).

My opinion about fibers: I don't think they are harmful to health in adequate amounts. Just because they are not edible doesn't mean they are harmful. They are not useful to digestion itself (unlike many ignorants and dieteticians tend to say or think) - in fact, they slow down digestion and make it harder - but they are good for afterwards : to help get rid of the other wastes (cuz fibers are wastes).

My opinion about the self-defense elements found in plants to protect themselves against species who wish to eat them... Ok, so cows and other herbivores have the digestive system to deal easily with those subtances but we don't ? Why not? 4 stomachs ain't necessary. We have 2 stomachs (1 stomach in two parts) unlike carnivores, who have only one simple stomach. I think we can digest grains and vegetables quite efficiently, but not necessarily optimally (worse with meat and animal products. But we digest fruits optimally).

We have the pro-meat/anti-vegans people who say those molecules are harmful to humans. On the other hand, I've heard from vegetarian dieteticians that those defenses of the plants against insects, microbes and viruses and beneficial to us when we eat them; when we eat those plants those same molecules are then protecting us from viruses, etc, rather than harming us.

Some people say also that plants contain too much insecticides/pesticides sprayed by humans. Not if you buy organic products. If you eat animal products, what you eat is even more toxic because it stored much more insecticides in the animal flesh, after years of intensive feeding.

Those phytochemicals are used both as ingredients for insecticides as well as making supplements supposedly scientifically proven to be effective for their potential health-promoting properties on humans.

Whatever if vegetables are good or bad for us, I don't think some greens everyday can harm us, especially if you choose the ones with no 'harmful' molecules, but I think the optimal diet for humans is fruitarianism.
For those wondering if only fruits can provide enough proteins, you can visit this website for infos. http://www.thefruitpages.com/sugar.shtml We can also add a few nuts and seeds to add some proteins.

I think that the ideal, and natural diet for humans is a low-fat raw vegan diet, has presented in the book 'The 80/10/10 Diet' by Dr.Douglas Graham. It consists of mostly fruits, and raw vegetables, with small amounts of seeds, nuts and avocados.

What's funny is that the diet suggested on the 1st link provided by the anti-vegan guy, is a mostly fruit diet. All meals are fruits, and some raw nuts. The only thing which is not fruits is 1 or 2 raw eggs per day.
http://www.waisays.com/suggestions.htmg.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-48276573754785586172009-02-28T00:16:00.003-05:002009-02-28T00:22:26.190-05:00CarnivoresThere's quite a lot of animal ingredients in the vaccine list. I don't know if they are all true, or maybe for some of them it's rarely used. But I'm pretty sure there are even more freaky stuff in other goods. Like for some soaps, do they use human fats ? What do they do with all the fats removed from liposuccion surgeries ?

http://www.vegetarianvitamin.com/vegetarian.php#gluten

Also in lots of food including bread, they use monoglyceride and diglycerides without citing if it's animal (cow or hog... or human? who know, lol) or vegetal derived.
Same with sodium stearoyl lactylate.

Some red dyes are made from the cochineal beetle. These are usually labeled as cochineal, carmine, or carminic acid.

And I've read also there's human hair in bread. Check if cystine, cysteine, l-cystine is listed (usually in industrial bread and tortillas, not artisanal bread) because sometimes this amino acid is taken from human hair, which apparently are not only used to put on the head of dolls...

Also known as l-cystine, our research indicates that the source of cysteine is human hair. Cystine is an amino acid needed by humans, which can be produced by the human body. A very small quantity is used in less than 5% of all bread products. Often the hair of third world women is used.

So if we eat bread that contains human hair proteins, are we cannibals ?
Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859) and other great naturalists often said that eating animals is not far from anthropophagy and cannibalism. After all as humans we're animals, the human animal. And many carnivore animals and insects perform cannibalism. Humans performed cannibalism during Stone Age as well as "primitive" tribes and sometimes in our modern society.

And let's not forget all the crushed rodent parts and insect fragments that end up in peanut butter, pastas, flour, etc... Anyone wants millipede flavoured chocolate ?

http://www.sixwise.com/newsletters/05/06/29/how_many_insect_parts_and_rodent_hairs_are_allowed_in_your_food.htm

CHOCOLATE AND CHOCOLATE LIQUOR

Insect filth: Average is 60 or more insect fragments per 100 grams when 6 100-gram subsamples are examined OR any 1 subsample contains 90 or more insect fragments

Rodent filth: Average is 1 or more rodent hairs per 100 grams in 6 100-gram subsamples examined OR any 1 subsample contains 3 or more rodent hairs

CITRUS FRUIT JUICES, CANNED

Insects and insect eggs: 5 or more Drosophila and other fly eggs per 250 ml or 1 or more maggots per 250 ml

RED FISH AND OCEAN PERCH

Parasites: 3% of the fillets examined contain 1 or more parasites accompanied by pus pockets

MACARONI AND NOODLE PRODUCTS

Insect filth: Average of 225 insect fragments or more per 225 grams in 6 or more subsamples

Rodent filth: Average of 4.5 rodent hairs or more per 225 grams in 6 or more subsamples

PEANUT BUTTER

Insect filth: Average of 30 or more insect fragments per 100 grams

Rodent filth: Average of 1 or more rodent hairs per 100 grams

POPCORN

Rodent filth: 1 or more rodent excreta pellets are found in 1 or more subsamples, and 1 or more rodent hairs are found in 2 or more other subsamples OR 2 or more rodent hairs per pound and rodent hair is found in 50% or more of the subsamples OR 20 or more gnawed grains per pound and rodent hair is found in 50% or more of the subsamples

WHEAT FLOUR

Insect filth: Average of 75 or more insect fragments per 50 grams

Rodent filth: Average of 1 or more rodent hairs per 50 gramsg.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2377608648928455848.post-10438794735674086322009-02-27T21:33:00.003-05:002009-02-28T00:09:00.973-05:00DRUGSIn Kaboul, a bottle of wine costs more than enough heroin to suply a junkie for one full day.
There's some catacombs filled with semi-conscious junkies who lie down like zombies when they're not taking their drugs. The tv journalists say that there is an horrible smell made of the sweet odor of burned opium mixed with the odor of human excrements.
After a while the junkies are a bit bothered by the presence of the camera and they begin to talk louder:

"My life is a disaster"
"You make money and we smoke this poison"

After heroin and cocain, opium is really easy to find in Afghanistan because it is produced in large amounts from the near countries.
There is also new "drug" very popular over there: the toxic skin of a frog which when smoked is hallucinogenic.

There is 60,000 kids addicted to heroin in Afghanistan. A 12 year old girl who's nick name is Blue Angel has been addicted to heroin for half her life, since the age of 6 year old; her mother was supplying her the drug. Now at the age of 13 she's finally cured and she jokes about getting married and she wants to go to school.

++++++++++++++++

In Columbia, the traffic of cocain is huge since many decades. But now Mexico is even bigger. The state arrested 40,000 drug dealers and producers. Seized 8,000 tons of marijuana, 67 tons (not sure of this number, I forgot, it may be more) of cocain, etc...g.desiletshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15516167415690800669noreply@blogger.com0
